Rethink Waste Community Engagement Officer

Are you passionate about working with others and nurturing behaviour change? We are seeking an Engagement Officer for North West Tasmania to plan and deliver resource recovery education programs.

Our Client Rethink Waste in NW Tasmania - is looking for an Engagement Officer to promote, plan and deliver sustainable waste management, and resource recovery program education and engage various stakeholders (including schools) in promoting sustainable waste management in Tasmania.

Responsibilities

  • create and deliver engaging presentations and programs – from toddlers through to older people
  • develop and implement educational resources and initiatives
  • plan and deliver workshops and events
  • liaise with a broad range of stakeholders
  • monitor and evaluate programs and report on progress
  • maintain records and financial administration
  • help to foster a safe work environment

Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

Term: Full-time, fixed-term contract until 30 June 2028
